Indeed 3.0 tdi are twin plate 228 mm , so if a 228mm single in an old 1.9 PD AWX engine can handle in good condition 300 ftlb a twinplate can handle 600 ftlb that's 813 Nm.

Ihave a 105PS Audi A1 1.6 TDI S-Line and will be looking to have this remapped. There are some european companys who offer "mild" remaps, some use boxes, some OBD tuning. it's up there with the bigger Audi's and to buy a A3 or A4 with similar spec and gadgets You are looking at an extra £5000-£9000 .
